Did you know that EPS (foam) is used in applications outside of stadium seating like: roofing, insulation, lightweight fill material, and MORE? In Q3 2017, we had the opportunity to participate on several of these types of projects. One of which will be the addition of a new skateboard park in AZ where the features of the park will actually be based around an EPS foam structure. Blocks are designed by SSE and GI, sent for manufacturing based on location of the jobsite, and shipped to the installing contractors for assembly and anchoring before forming and pouring concrete to encapsulate the material. EPS saves the contractors time, effort and money.
